About me

I’m the owner and designer behind Imera Quilt Co. I started quilting with my grandma for 4-H projects and never really stopped. These days, I balance life as a full-time automotive engineer and a part-time pattern designer, creating modern quilts inspired by the world around me—architecture, color, travel, and everyday shapes. I’m drawn to bright colors, solid fabrics, and clean, simple design that makes a big impact.

I love watching a design come to life, from a simple sketch to a finished quilt. While quilting is my main creative outlet, I’m also into illustration, stamp carving, and cooking. I’m always looking for new ways to stay creative.

Travel is another big passion—I’ve visited 16 countries across 4 continents, with a goal to make it to all 7 someday (still working on it!).

Oh—and I’m a new Gammill long arm owner, figuring it out one quilt at a time.

I started Imera Quilt Co. to help inspire and support the next generation of quilters. My goal is to make modern quilting approachable for everyone, with patterns that include clear, beginner-friendly instructions while still offering something for more experienced makers. As the brand grows, I plan to add tutorials covering every step of the quilting process and be a resource for answering all your quilting questions—big or small.
