Frequently Asked Questions

What sewing machines do you use?

I use a basic Brother sewing machine that my grandma originally bought from a thrift store and later had repaired. I'm a big believer that you don’t need fancy equipment to quilt—any machine with a straight stitch will work just fine!

For quilting, I recently purchased a secondhand Gammill Statler Stitcher Longarm. It's new to me, and I'm still learning, but it's been a fun challenge!

Do you offer printed patterns?

At the moment, I only offer PDF patterns. They’re formatted to print easily on standard 8.5" x 11" paper, which you can print at home, a local print shop, office supply store, or even your library.

Will you resize a pattern for me?

This isn’t a service I currently offer. I do my best to include multiple sizes when possible, but not all designs scale well. You can find the finished dimensions for each quilt in the pattern listing to help choose the best option for your project.

Can I sell a quilt made with an Imera Quilt Co. Pattern?

Yes! You’re welcome to sell quilts made using any Imera Quilt Co. pattern, as long as you credit the pattern and Imera Quilt Co. as the designer.

Please note: Patterns are for individual use only and may not be shared, copied, or redistributed in any form.

What does “Imera” mean?

Imera means day in Greek. It is a play on my own name, Dia, which means day in Spanish.
